In-person
At Function of Y Mens Health and Wellness Clinic we believe that you need to lay eyes on the people you are treating in person. Virtual visits are great and save time but are no substitute for a face to face meeting. We do require that we see our patients at the initial visit and periodically during their treatment.
Labs
While TRT and provided services are generally safe they do need to be monitored for side effects and also to ensure therapy is optimal. We do require quarterly labs. Specific labs will depend on type of treatment and previous results.
We have negotiated a discounted rate with AccessMedLabs. We order the labs for you and we can draw them, or have them drawn at a local LabCorp draw station.
Discrete
We are about as discrete as you can get. We do in-home visits and our clinics are designed for efficiency and are located within other local businesses. This allows us to offer our full spectrum of services and you can avoid the traditional clinic visit.
Time Efficient
We are designed for people who work and/or busy with life. We offer appointments starting at 5am, weekends, evenings. This doesn’t interrupt your day, avoids traffic and scheduling conflicts It’s just a lot less hassle. We can do this because we have capped the number of patients that we are accepting and we dont need to see a high volume of patients. This allows us to offer these services of convenience to you as well as maintain a healthy work/life balance for our providers.

Andropause
Andropause, often referred to as male menopause, is a condition characterized by a gradual decline in testosterone levels in aging men. This hormonal change can lead to various physical, emotional, and psychological symptoms, including fatigue, depression, irritability, reduced libido, erectile dysfunction, and loss of muscle mass. Andropause happens gradually and can vary significantly among individuals. It typically affects men in their late 40s to early 60s. Treatment options may include lifestyle changes, hormone, peptide and testosterone therapy, and addressing specific symptoms.
As men age, a gradual decline in testosterone levels is a natural part of the aging process, often beginning in their late 30s and becoming more pronounced in their 40s and 50s, leading to potential changes in energy, mood, and overall vitality; this shift can affect physical strength, libido, and even mental clarity, making it essential for men to understand and manage these changes through informed choices and personalized health strategies, ensuring they continue to thrive with confidence and wellness at every stage of life. With testosterone therapy symptoms can be improved.
As we age, our bodies undergo numerous changes, one of the most significant being the gradual decline in Human Growth Hormone (HGH) levels, which typically begins in our late twenties and continues to decrease over the decades. This decline can lead to various health issues, including decreased muscle mass, increased body fat, and diminished energy levels, all of which can impact overall vitality and well-being. Understanding this natural hormonal shift is crucial, as it enables individuals to explore options for maintaining health and vitality, empowering them to take proactive steps toward optimizing their physical and mental wellness throughout life’s journey. We offer comprehensive evaluations and tailored treatments to help manage HGH levels.
